Corvette Z06 Car Review

It still carries the traditional exposed headlamps that was first presented in 1962. Other variants of the C6 include the ZR1. According to auto experts and manufacturers, this version is one of the most powerful models of the Corvette. Compared to the earlier version (C5), the C6 is able to get an overhaul of suspension. The body work is able to hold a larger space for the passenger compartments. The engine is also larger compared to the earlier version as it has a 6.0L engine. As with most newer versions that are released the following year, the C6 is about 5.1 inches smaller. The engine is able to produce up to 400 hp at 6000 rpm. This also includes a torque at 4400 rpm.

The transmission is automatic and has an estimated 15/25 mpg on the highway. The manual transmission has been fitted by the manufacturers with CAGS (computer aided gear shifting). This allows the driver to operate the vehicle while driving in 1st gear and being able to quickly switch to 4th gear all while operating at a low RPM. The car has also become more energy efficient and not as much as a 'gas guzzler' as the previous model. In 2006, the manufacturer added GM badges.

About two years, the 08 model received an engine upgrade (LS3). The liter was increased to 6.2 liters, which was able to hold more power. Other features include the vacuum valve exhaust. The T56 transmission was also replaced with an updated version called the TR6060.

The Corvette Z06 version was first introduced in 2006. It has a larger engine with more power, at 7.0 liters. The codename for the small block engine is LS7. Other features on this model that are not available on previous models include a dry sump oiling system. Aluminum is the material used to create the frame of the Z06. Some heavier materials were also used including carbon fiber floors. This version uses multiple parts from the ZR1. Some of these parts include the active suspension and the ceramic brakes. The Corvette Z06 weights over 3000 pounds and has often been compared to the 2006 Daytona 500.

This vehicle is able to stand up against it's counterparts such as previous models (ZR1 and the Zo6). Consumer swill be able to enjoy a better energy efficient car with a powerful engine.
